The Vancouver Integrated Supervision Unit
Yana Nuszdorfer will share insights from working with the Vancouver Integrated Supervision Unit which is an integrated team supporting clients suffering from mental health issues who are also in the criminal justice system. Located in the Downtown Eastside, they support clients with a multitude of services including housing, psychiatric and medical care, legal support and financial management. The program aims to reduce recidivism and prevent admissions to hospitals and custody centres.
