Marriage Licence

A Licence is required and needs to be applied for in the 90 day period before the wedding date.
*The Licence is to be brought to the church as least one full working day before the wedding.

A Guide To Donations

The staff at Highlands United Church would be pleased to assist you with the coordination of your wedding service. The following are guidelines to donations and fees. Please contact the church office for more information and to arrange an appointment with the Minister.

Wedding Service: Includes Sanctuary or Chapel and Reception space, Service Bulletin and Custodial care.	$400.00
Minister's Fee	$225.00
Musician for Wedding	$150.00
Musician for Rehearsal	$75.00
Soloist	$100.00
Event Coordinator & Hostess	$100.00
Reception Space Rental and use of Commercial Kitchen	$250.00

Please note:

Book a rehearsal time by calling the Church Office. Rehearsals need to be between the hours of 4.30p.m. and 7.00p.m. Bring to the rehearsal, cheques or cash for the above amounts, as well as your candles and pew bows (if desired). Banners might be in place at the front of the Church on the date of your wedding and cannot be removed.

The Ministers of our congregation have varied responsibilities and sometimes the Minister you begin conversations with is not the person who will officiate at the wedding. If this were to be the case, the minister would talk with you about the needed arrangements. We strongly encourage your attendance at Worship in the weeks preceding your wedding. You will find that worship with our congregation on a Sunday morning will serve to enrich your wedding and your marriage. Services are at 10:00a.m. unless otherwise noted.
