With about 175 people participating in four choirs at Highlands, music is an important part of the church. You can sit back and listen. Or join one of the choirs—a great way to get to know people! You can join the “summer choir”—a totally impromptu experience from July to September.
We are blessed at Highlands to have talented musicians and music leaders who share the joy that music can bring to us all. Four choirs for different ages are active, and you can join at any time during the year (with the exception of the Re:Sound Chamber Choir). You don’t have to know how to read music to enjoy being part of one of the choirs.

Play an Instrument?
There’s lots of opportunities for instrumental participation. There’s a Handbell Ensemble, led by Rosalind Hollett, that performs at Christmas and Easter and an opportunity to participate in the “Family Band” at our annual Family Christmas Concert in December.
If you’re interested in any of these musical activities, contact Geordie Roberts, Highlands Music Coordinator.
