Caring, talking, learning, moving

On Sunday mornings, Highlands is a large, vibrant, busy church. For the rest of the week, it’s teeming with small groups of people–singing, cooking, sorting donations for the annual flea market, helping newcomers to Canada learn English, listening to guest speakers, and so much more.

Small Groups

Friendships are forged in smaller groups. At Highlands, there’s plenty of opportunity to meet people who could become lifelong friends with deep connections, to get to know young people or seniors, and to grow your community of faith.

Small Groups activities, which are announced in the Weekly Highlights, include pitch and putt outings, walking groups, high tea afternoons, and coffee gatherings in Edgemont Village.

If there’s an activity or an interest that you’d like to see at Highlands, in the short term or longer, don’t wait to be asked. Start it up! Highlands encourages people to take initiative and to fulfill needs as they see them, rather than seek permission. Check out the categories below and see what interests you.
